1-Week Board & Train: Community Leash Manners

Our 1-Week Community Leash Manners Board & Train Program focuses on building essential leash skills and everyday manners. During this week, your dog will live with a professional trainer who dedicates multiple hours each day to hands-on training. The primary focus is on leash manners and polite behavior in and around the home. You’ll stay connected through direct communication with your trainer and receive daily video updates of your dog’s progress.
Your dog will learn essential on-leash obedience and manners, including:
- Come (On Leash)
- Sit
- Loose Leash Walking
- Place
- Greeting Manners
- Door Manners
- Meal Manners
All commands are reinforced with distance, duration, and distractions to build real-world reliability.
We also address common unwanted behaviors such as jumping, counter surfing, and destructive habits in the home.
At the end of the program, your dog’s trainer will meet with you to review everything your dog has learned and show you how to maintain their new skills. Please plan to spend a few hours with the trainer during this transition.
Dogs must be 20 weeks or older to participate. For younger dogs, please see our Puppy Lessons.
Dogs displaying anxiety, aggression, or reactivity are not eligible for this program. For those cases, we offer a Behavior Modification Board & Train or Private Lessons.
This program does not include an off-leash control guarantee.
