BOARD & TRAIN

Puppy Foundations
$ 1400
  • Our 2-Week Puppy Board & Train program is designed to lay a solid foundation for young puppies, ensuring they are set up for future success. It focuses on foundational skills and early training. However, there is no guarantee of command proficiency as each puppy progresses at their own pace. Additionally, this program is not suitable for puppies older than 16 weeks as they may not respond as effectively to the methods used. You’ll stay connected through direct communication with your trainer and receive daily video updates of your dog’s progress.

  • Training Elements:
  • Potty Training
  • Focus on crate training, setting up a consistent routine, and positive reinforcement (praise and treats) when the puppy eliminates outside.
  • Introduce “go potty” cues to help the puppy understand what’s expected.
  • Age-Appropriate Socialization/Exposure

  • Expose to varied surfaces (carpet, wood floors, grass, gravel) and sounds (vacuum, doorbells, traffic).
  • Manage the puppy’s experience to ensure it’s fun and non-threatening to build positive associations
  • Play & Engagement (Mental Enrichment)
  • Use a mix of structured playtime (such as tug and fetch) and free play to ensure the puppy is well-engaged.
  • Incorporate interactive toys like Kongs and puzzle feeders to engage the puppy mentally.

  • Practice heel position and direction changes to keep the puppy focused on you.
  • Desensitization to Grooming/Vet Care:
  • Gradual exposure to the grooming tools (brush, clippers, nail trimmers), making the experience positive with treats.
